Capybara Hero Keychain — Chibi Capy in Armour

The world's calmest animal, in a suit of armour.

and the completely unbothered capybara face on top. It is the only full-body figure in this set

rather than a head, so the armour panels, the paws and the little ears all had to survive at 50 mm,

which is what the 0.2 mm nozzle is for. The loop prints as part of the head.

Why you will like it

- Full figure, not a head — arms, chest plate and feet all modelled — it stands up on a desk as

happily as it hangs on keys.

- The joke lands — armour everywhere, and the face still could not care less.

- One piece, no assembly — loop included, no glue, no separate parts to lose.

- Pocket-sized — about 50 mm tall — desk figure and keychain in the same print.

- Fun to paint — the armour panels are separated by deep cuts, so masking is easy and a wash does

most of the work.

Print settings

- Nozzle: 0.2 mm — this is the one setting that matters. The whole model is built around a 0.2 mm

nozzle: the panel lines, the armour panel cuts and the loop all come out crisp. A 0.4 mm nozzle

prints it, but the fine detail turns mushy and the smallest cuts close up completely.

- Layer height: 0.1 mm (first layer 0.1 mm as well)

- Walls: 4 · Top shell: 7 layers · Infill: 15 % grid

- Supports: tree (auto), slim style, threshold 30°. The arms, the chin and the underside of the

chest plate overhang, so leave supports on. Tree supports reach between the arms and the body and

pull out from the side.

- Brim: auto · Raft: none

- Material: PLA. Silk and matte both look good; matte hides the layer lines best.

- Outer wall around 120 mm/s. Slower does not buy you much at 0.1 mm, but a clean, well-levelled

first layer does.
