Every panel line, at keyring size. The helmet, faceplate and jawline are all cut as separate panels rather than moulded into one blob, which is exactly the kind of detail a 0.2 mm nozzle exists for. The loop is part of the print, sitting on the crown where it does not break the silhouette, so there is nothing to glue on afterwards. Why you will like it - Panel lines that read — the seams around the faceplate and the eye slots stay sharp because the whole model was drawn for a 0.2 mm nozzle. - One piece, no assembly — the loop prints with the helmet; add a split ring and you are done. - Pocket-sized — about 50 mm tall — heavy enough to feel solid, small enough to live on keys. - A great two-tone print — red body, gold faceplate on an AMS, or leave it raw grey like the photos. - Dry-brush friendly — the recessed seams pick up a metallic dry-brush better than a smooth print ever will. Print settings - Nozzle: 0.2 mm — this is the one setting that matters. The whole model is built around a 0.2 mm nozzle: the panel lines, the panel seams and the loop all come out crisp. A 0.4 mm nozzle prints it, but the fine detail turns mushy and the smallest cuts close up completely. - Layer height: 0.1 mm (first layer 0.1 mm as well) - Walls: 4 · Top shell: 7 layers · Infill: 15 % grid - Supports: tree (auto), slim style, threshold 30°. The jaw and the underside of the helmet overhang, so leave supports on; tree supports snap off the flat cheek panels without scarring them. - Brim: auto · Raft: none - Material: PLA. Silk and matte both look good; matte hides the layer lines best. - Outer wall around 120 mm/s. Slower does not buy you much at 0.1 mm, but a clean, well-levelled first layer does.
