Описание

Hey everyone!

This is a very simple design, but I love it and use it every single day.

I originally created this bin to hold all the typical 3D printing waste. It was designed with a strictly "form follows function" approach: all the dented dragon-scale contours serve a purpose by making the walls extremely sturdy, even in vase mode.

My Print Settings (Gray Bin):

- Print Mode: Vase Mode (Spiral Outer Contour)

- Nozzle Size: 0.8 mm

- Extrusion / Line Width: 1.4 mm

- Bottom Layers: 6

- Tips for Max Strength: Print slowly, use low fan speeds, and make sure your filament is dry. This drastically improves layer adhesion—which is crucial for a strong print!

It holds up impressively well—I even bring mine on camping trips!

Scaling: Feel free to scale the model to whatever size you need! In the photos, you can see the different scales:

- 100% (Gray)

- 75% (Prusament Pale Gold / Mint)

- 60% (Red)

- 50% (Orange)

- 25% (Green)

Note on non-uniform scaling: If you scale the X/Y and Z axes unevenly, the transition from the bottom layer to the outer wall might become a weak point. If needed, a small line of superglue along the inner seam fixes this easily.

Have fun printing!

P.S. I’ve also uploaded a standard non-vase-mode version (designed for a 0.6 mm nozzle with 3 wall loops) along with the original Fusion 360 file.

The large, watertight red dish in the photos was derived from that multi-wall version—I simply scaled it up in the slicer and cut off the upper half before printing!
