Steam Controller (2026) Charging Stand With Puck Retention Magnets

This remix adds magnet sockets for retaining the puck. (12mm x 3mm) They are easily adjustable as they are done with negative volumes in the slicer. I've also removed the overhangs on the back and flattened small vertical noise.

To glue in the magnets, I suggest placing the magnets on the back of the puck first, to make sure they're the right way around. Then:

- Proceed with one magnet at a time on the back of the puck, to reduce complexity.

- Apply adhesive / glue to the back of the magnet. (I used these , which were a little too big.)

- Place the bottom edge of the puck in the bottom edge of its slot.

- Push the top edge of the puck in towards flat, and wiggle as necessary to get the magnet to line up.

- Pull off the puck so the magnet remains in the socket and apply pressure as needed for your adhesive.

12mm x 3mm I'm sure you can find where ever, but for magnets of essentially this size manufactured in the US, I found these .
