Spice Jar Riser for IKEA ENHET (15 cm deep) - modular, 6 jars per module

A modular 3-tier riser for spice jars, designed for the IKEA ENHET wall frame with shelves (60 x 15 x 75 cm). Every row sits higher than the one in front, so you can read all labels and lift any jar out without touching the others.

Fits

- IKEA ENHET shelf, 150 mm deep. The base spans the full depth and rests on the frame at the front and back, so it stands level even if the shelf itself sags a little.

- Square spice jars 45 x 45 x 108 mm (incl. lid), lids 47 mm diameter. Each row rises 75 mm; the top jar ends at 266 mm, leaving ~94 mm to grab it below the 360 mm shelf gap.

- 6 jars per module (2 wide x 3 rows), 98 mm wide.

Design

- One extruded truss profile with X-bracing, printed on its side: no supports, every layer identical, and the weight of the jars acts within the layers instead of pulling them apart.

- All walls 1.7 mm (4 lines with a 0.4 mm nozzle). Small lips on every row keep the jars from sliding off.

- Modules are joined with short pieces of 1.75 mm filament as dowels.

Print settings (Creality Ender-3 V3 KE, PLA)

- Orientation: as loaded, with the profile flat on the bed (98 mm tall). No supports.

- 0.24 mm layers (0.2 mm first layer), 2 walls.

- Brim 10 mm with a brim-object gap of 0. The long back wall tends to lift at its corners; "Outer and inner brim" and/or a draft shield help.

- Bed 60 °C (65 °C first layer), part cooling fan 40-50 %. There are no overhangs, and less cooling means less warping.

- About 5 h 40 min and 245 g of PLA per module.

Assembly

- Cut 16-20 mm pieces of straightened 1.75 mm filament, 3 per joint (9 for 5 modules on two shelves).

- Push them halfway into one module (mark the middle with a pen) and slide the next module on. 5 mm per side is also enough; the dowels only align the modules.

- The holes are 2.10 mm, which gave a tight fit on my printer.
