Half Life Alyx Combine Soldier Helmet - now finished

Summary

If models are way too small or way too big, try scaling them up/down by multiples of 10 (100% -> 1000% / 100% -> 10%) The models should be working, but this issue has happened before so just in case.

Here are files for a helmet that combines wear in Half Life Alyx. THIS HELMET IS SCALED FOR ME (195cm) RESIZE IT IF NEEDED (100 / 195 x "your height in cm" to get the percentage you need to scale the helmet)

This is the most accurate free model available, maybe even most overall.

I used the game file from Alyx and upscaled it so you can print it, because of that the proportions of the helmet are as close as they could be. A lot of the detail i had to make from scratch because most of them were made with texture and bump maps and not 3d shapes.

These files are properly rotated and ready to print!

08.08.2022 - added a new version of the side filter with a better shape and two other files 25.04.2023 - finally added rest of the files 16.06.2023 - fixed scale of some files, they have 2 at the end of their name, their upload date will also be different 13.01.2024 - added an image that explains which part is which for the "sliced" files for the shell 27.01.2024 - added the model for the hexagonal mesh used in the eyes

Additional info for the files

The eye border is at an angle to help getting a smoother shape.

I included not sliced bottom and the top of the mask if you want to do it yourself.

Side filter is designed to be held by two 5mmx5mm cylinder magnets. These however don't hold it very well, I'll be uploading an additional support model that you can glue to the filter itself.
