Описание

A very easy-to-build Airspeed Indicator for flight simulation. It comes in two different versions: either articulation by an SG-90 micro servo or with a 28BYJ-48 stepper motor (recommended).

UPDATE 2024-12-21: Fusion 360 Source added

Material needed: 4 Screws M4x20 1 SG-90 micro servo (including screws) OR 1 28BYJ-48 stepper motor with SMD driver board 2 Screws M4x10

The stepper driver board can be clipped onto the rear of the base. For the gauge print either the pdf or the png at 84x84mm size.

The colored arcs on the dial are designed for the Aerobask DA-62, modify as desired.

Since this is a very universal design it is possible to use it also for any other single needle indicator. Just design any gauge you like and share here as a remix!

Stepper Version: Software for X-Plane 12 for the complete Sixpack can be found on Github MartinRusk/Sixpack (github.com)

Servo Version: Software for X-Plane 12 and a PCB design available on GitHub within my Attitude Indicator project: MartinRusk/Attitude-Indicator (github.com)

Use with MobiFlight is also possible for MSFS, please refer to MobiFlight documentation. There are reports the servo version is not working properly with MobiFlight, so go with the stepper version instead.

to integrate everything without the need for woodwork.

Please visit also the FlightSimMaker Discord !

Can optionally be combined with my Spacer Frame with Glas for Flight Simulation Instruments for a realistic look&feel.

Stay tuned for more instruments to come!

Remark: Depending on the servo and your desired maximum speed indication you might want to use the 21/11 gear combination from the Variometer design covering a larger angle instead of the 20/12 gear combination provided here. My prototype achieves 175kts with the 20/12 gear.
