Filament Spool Shelf Hanger

I designed and printed this spool holder specifically to hang inside an Ikea Platsa cabinet along with my MK3S+, but would work equally well on any shelf that's about the same size (~22.5mm). Bear in mind that, because this is designed to hang on the shelf/cabinet, it requires that one side is open. So it won't work if, for example the printer enclosure is entirely closed.

Designed to fit 1Kg spools. The bar is quite wide so I believe it would probably fit most brand spools apart from all but the most obscurely dimensioned.

The model is available in both left- and right-facing orientations, so can be placed back-to-back, against the cabinet wall, or however you like. I have 2 set up in my cabinet, but used to have 3 with still enough room left to remove/place a spool.

While no drilling is required to secure the hanger, there is a hole on the top and back to allow it if you want. Also on the underside of the top overhang is a shallow groove to place a rubber washer (up to ~20mm) or similar to aid with grip.

I've had mine in use now since early 2023 without screws, and have had no issues with movement while printing, and they still seem completely sturdy.
