Here is the new Vortex V2 Linear Rail X system for the Sovol SV01 Pro using the Biqu H2V2 extruder. It provides crazy clean X motion & amazing quality prints with no surface artefacts that were previously related to the old style carriage wheels.

This is designed for use with an M8 Inductive Probe & a printer with sensorless homing! It is perfectly suited for use with this upgrade!

Or if you already have a board capable of sensorless homing like the SKR Mini E3 V3 & just want something for the Y axis so you can remove the switch, print one of these!

This system will probably easily fit the OG SV01 & SV03 printers too as the brackets are basically the same & you'll be making your own new X gantry anyway so you can measure your old one & adjust the holes to suit. Don't just use the values for the Pro here, as they'll be different.

BEFORE YOU START!

This requires metal working skills & tools!

You will need to cut metal bars to length accurately & drill accurate & straight holes in specific places & tap clean strong threads in Aluminium!
