Wyze Cam Pan V3 Magnetic Mount for P1P

Unhappy with the low framerate camera and LAN only functionality of the P1P's accessory camera, I bought the affordable (~$40) Wyze Cam Pan V3 to keep an eye on my printing while I am away.

I found a fixed P1P mount for an older Wyze camera here on Pintables and printed a base to make it compatible, but the camera sat too high and it got in the the way of removing/replacing the bed plate.

This mount places the Pan V3 at the right height and is easily removable thanks to the magnetic design.

It requires the following:

- 1 6x3 mm (round rare earth magnets) - 5 8x3 mm (round rare earth magnets) - Small amount of Cyanoacrylate Adhesive (super glue) to keep the magnets in the holes A variety pack like this one will get you both sizes of magnets: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KXWSM4Y/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Supports are only needed for where the camera base bracket slides in. Feel free to block the supports the slicer adds for the holes, it will print just fine without them.

The magnets should press fit into the holes, but will eventually need to be glued in place as they are strong enough to be pulled out by the frame.

Screw the camera to the base using the mount screw supplied with the camera and slide it in place.

I have only printed and tested with PLA. Overture ECO PLA Midnight Black is pictured - my favorite filament to print parts with, they come out looking really nice - and works really well in “Ludicrous” mode!
