Splatoon Squid Hairclip

This is a wearable, printable replica of the iconic Squid Hairclip from Splatoon. It's the headgear piece you can get from the Inkling Girl amiibo.

To make this, all you need is Black, White and Green PLA, a (large) hairclip, and superglue.

Print instructions

- Print with 0.2mm layer height, and use PrusaSlicer to apply filament swaps at 2.60mm and 3.40 mm so the preview looks like the image below. - The order in which to load the filament is green-black-white.

- You can turn on the ironing feature to make the top layers nice and smooth. This works especially well on the thin white layer to make it look truly grey. - Alternatively, you can lightly sand the white top layer. - Apply superglue on the end of the hairclip and press and hold it to the print until it cures.
