Creality PSU Quiet Mod 120mm Fan

My Ender 3 Pro didn't come with a Meanwell PSU as advertised, but it was cheap enough to be worth it. It did come with a Creality CMS-350-24 power supply. It also had a small obnoxious fan that runs all the time. This mod uses a slow 120mm fan for better ventilation that runs almost silently. It does a bit of rewiring and uses a DC-DC Step Down (Buck) converter to bring the 24 VDC to 12 VDC.

The converter bolts to the inside of the power supply in the empty spot where the fan was using 2x 2x4mm fasteners. To attach the fan, 4 additional 3x30mm screws attach the grille and fan to the cover plate. The 4 screws holding down the metal cover are reused to attach the plastic cover. The plastic cover has two loops for cable routing with zip ties.
