Sidewinder X1 Hemera Revo XS Mount With Angled Fan Shroud/Duct V2

This model includes everything you need to mount a Hemera Revo XS to a Sidewinder X1. It includes a custom-made fan shroud/duct that will work with the rest of the mounting hardware. The model is made so that the nozzle tip is in nearly the same location as the stock printer so you do not need to play with any offsets. I found that if you want to go fast or high temp for strength, parts suffer from cooling issues. So I made mounts to change out the fan for a 5015.

This mount also has to ability to be milled/CNCed out of a block of stock material.

PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS: Print parts in ABS/ASA or PETG for heat resistance. You should print all the files with 1 exception. If you dialed in your support settings well, you should print the “Revo Mount All In One,” If not you want to CNC the base mount, print “Revo Mounting Block” and “Revo Mounting Plate" instead and bond it with some sort of adhesive or welding. If you wish to use the stock fan(4020), print the parts labeled with 4020. If you want to upgrade to a 5015, print parts labeled with 5015

UPDATE HISTORY:

8/6/2023: Found out that the mount is too low. Remade mounting plate and all-in-one models to properly fit with no end-stop modification

8/6/2023: Increased clearance of fan shroud. Affects both fan brackets and the fan shroud. Also modified the height of the mounting plate and all-in-one parts to be usable with removable bed mods and stock beds.

8/12/2023: The stock fan seems inadequate, so started work on new parts to be compatible with a 5015 blower fan. I might just be bad with fan duct design ;p

8/25/2023: Introduced 5015 mounting hardware, including: “5015 Lower Fan Mount”, “5015 Upper Fan Mount”, and “5015 Fan Shroud.” Re-named stock fan mount parts with a preceding 4020. 5015 mounts are still untested
