Nikon P300, P310, P330, P340 Grip and Arca Tripod Plate

A compact grip and arca-type tripod plate for the Nikon p300 series. This adds a Ricoh GR - inspired grip, a bottom right strap connector, and arca type tripod mounting plate to the camera.

Pictured here in neon green translucent Prusament PETG. I recommend adding some fuzzy skin with a box modifier around the grip part to make it feel better!

Just get a 1/4 20 screw with about 1/4" long shaft and 1/8" long head, with a head no wider than 0.375"

I have been using 3d printed tripod plate + strap connector combos for years with no problems, but ultimately the safety of your gear is up to you, and I take no responsibility for any damages caused if your copy of this design breaks or does not work with your gear.

IMPORTANT DETAIL: The vertical tripod plate notch is super non-standard and will not work with most clamps. The shape is optimized for being a comfortable grip first, and just happens to be wide enough to act as a vertical arca plate which will work with some clamps that have particularly deep teeth.

It works on my smallrig, sunwayfoto, and leofoto clamps, but not on the original clamp that came with my mefoto roadtrip tripod. Try it out with your gear in a controlled situation first. Think of the vertical arca plate as an extra feature that's there because I was able to add it, not something to rely on.

More about this design

This grip and bottom plate combo was designed from scratch starting from a flatbed scan of the bottom of the camera, which allows it to brace securely against the body and clear the battery/card door.
