Print instructions

Holder:

If your phone is over 71 mm in width car_phone_holder_base.stl - no supports required car_phone_holder_left_side.stl - no supports required car_phone_holder_right_side.stl - no supports required

If your phone smaller, but over 68 mm in width car_phone_holder_base_68.stl - no supports required car_phone_holder_left_side_68.stl - no supports required car_phone_holder_right_side_68.stl - no supports required

The rest does not depend on phone width car_phone_holder_rod_a.stl - print twice car_phone_holder_rod_b.stl - print twice car_phone_holder_bolt.stl - print four times car_phone_holder_bolt_gum.stl - print four times

Clip:

clip_a.stl - to be printed on a cut side - no supports clip_b.stl - to be printed on a cut side - no supports clip_a_and_b.stl - if your printer can manufacture perfect bottom surface of the sphere, then you can print clips as one piece. For stronger piece, print it on its side clip_nut_S.stl, clip_nut_M.stl, clip_nut_L.stl - depending on tolerances of you printer one of them will fit perfectly. Print all of them and then try one by one starting from "L". clip_bolt.stl - print two of them clip_wrench.stl - optional part, of you need stronger grip, but be careful not to brake plastic parts

Your own mounting - M26x1.5 mm metric thread 20 mm ball

Assembly Instructions

Holder:

Screw holding arms to geared rods using "long" bolts and geared rods to the central base with short screws. Use PH3/PZ3 screw driver

Clip:

Glue two halves together with super glue.

Screw clip to the base. Fixate the clip on your car ventilation. Screw it with printed bolts using flat screwdriver.

You can put rubber band (or bands) on the long bolts to make grip stronger. This holder will operate even without ribber rings! If you intend not to use rubber bands at all, you can print all eight bolts using car_phone_holder_bolt.stl
