Jinhao 159 Fountain pen Lightweight Body & Cap

A slightly older model that some of my others I've since refined the techniques. This is just the body and cap that can be made to swap for the Jinhao 159 to fix 2 issues I was having.

Issue 1: The whole thing is so heavy it would fatigue my hand to write with. Solution: PLA is light

Issue 2: The cap takes too long to unscrew Solution: Use a double-start course thread.

Printing Pens: Tough PLA (PLA Pro/Plus) works best as regular PLA can be brittle.

Print with a 0.4mm nozzle max. Adaptive layer height down to 0.1mm because there's fine detail. Your printer needs to be well-calibrated to print this accurately

Print all parts with the largest flat face down. No support should be necessary, but you will want a brim. Print each piece separately to reduce stringing. You may need to deburr/chamfer the bottom edge with a sharp knife or sandpaper just to ensure a proper fit and removal of the brim.
