Ultralight Base for Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 (Free Version)

I've recently encountered some technical difficulties with Printables and Stripe, which means I can't sell the complete version of this model with the screw holes right now. I'm actively working to resolve these issues and hope to set up shop on Printables soon! In the meantime, I'm happy to provide a free version without standoffs and screw holes for test printing purposes as a thank you for your patience. This is a lightweight upgrade for the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2. By replacing the original base with this 3D-printed version, you can achieve a weight saving of up to 12 grams.

This model is not compatible with the G Pro X Superlight 1

Design

For optimal stability and performance, printing the parts in a stiff material such as PLA-CF is recommended. Prototyping with standard PLA revealed that the mouse sensor might experience jitter under pressure when held in a palm grip, though this will vary based on individual grip styles and may be deemed acceptable. While there is a slight added flex towards the rear end near the screws, it falls outside the area where fingers typically grip, thereby not affecting the usual handling of the mouse. There is a small overhang at the rear corners which allows for the attachment of mouse feet, minimizing flex under the weight of your hand.

While the model is tested and confirmed to fit on three separate mice, minor adjustments might be necessary to compensate for your printer's specific tolerances.

When assembling, take care to avoid over-tightening the screws to prevent damage, particularly the rear center screw.

Weight Breakdown:

- Originally the mouse weighs ~62 grams with feet. - Powerplay Magnets are ~4 grams - Stock base weighs 8 grams without feet or magnets. - Lightweight base weighs ~4 grams - Total savings of up to 12 grams My Lexip Ceramic feet adds 3 grams to the mouse. Use dot skates for the lightest feet.
