Voron V0.2 R1 Front cowling 4010 cooling fans BETA TEST

This has now moved from ALPHA to BETA TESTING!

I was challenged to see if 4010 blower fans could be fitted into the awesome Mini SB.

I set about it with the aim to keep it as OEM as possible in size as well as looks.

This mod should allow for better cooling of the printed parts but real world testing is needed!

only 2 x M3x8mm screws are needed to fit this and these replace the 2 x M3x12mm screws that secure the extruder main body to the front cowling. these are the ones that come up from above the cooling fans (see pic)

obviously to squeeze the larger fans in there there was some small compromises made.

these were…

- the front of the cowling was extended forwards by 3.4mm (currently) so 3.5mm of Y travel will be lost. - the front face chamfers have been adjusted to keep the Mini SB's original look! - the fans were kept as far back as possible so not to loose too much Y travel. - the cowling was extended back to cover the bigger fans (got to keep it looking good!) - the LED's had to be removed because of space requirement for the extra cooling ducts (these might be squeezed in later) - cable routing has now been optimised and is the main reason for the extra Y travel loss. (it was originally 1.4mm loss but wiring was too tight.) - Porting for the 4010's have been optimised more! this is now in BETA testing as some stuff might require changing to allow for better cooling performance, ease of fitment of parts and wiring routing.

Any feedback would be great, good or bad!

All other dimension were kept as they are meant to be so homing (including sensor less) will not be affected! this was one of my main goals as it helps keep things easy and simple!
