40v dual adapter compatible with Ryobi 40v

Updated 04/07/2026 same battery interface can be used to build either a single or dual battery adapter, added glue-in covers for the wire channel in either configuration.

Allows for the use of two Ryobi 40v batteries in place of a single battery for increased runtime.

Bend the end of yellow quick connect terminals to create a terminal that the battery terminal will slide into. Two quick connect terminals mounted opposite each other is used to create one terminal.

The batteries are wired in parallel with diodes on the + terminal of each battery.

NOTE: Always use two 40v batteries that are at the same Ah rating and the same level of charge. The BMS built into all Ryobi 40v batteries will still provide a safe low voltage cut-off when the batteries are used in parallel to power a tool.

NOTE: Never try to charge two 40v Ryobi Li-Ion batteries in parallel (in any 40v charger) as damage to the BMS is possible. Charge the 40v batteries individually in approved chargers.
