Solder Fume Extractor

This is Fume Extractor is build arround a 50mm 5V PC Fan I salvaged from an old PC.

Printed in Standard PLA

.2mm Layer Hight

3-4 Bottom/ Top / Wall

I used support on the countersink part for the screw heads on the Top, but since they are just 4mm in diameter you could probably go without.

There is a .5mm wiggelroom around the Fan and the holes for the bolds are 2mm (please adjust in your Slicer to fit your printer)

As a filter I used a 5mm active carbon filtermat (originally meant to be used in the Fume Exhaust over your kitchen stove) and squished it to 4.5mm for a tight fit.

BOM:

1x 5V 50mm PC Fan

1x 50x50mm, 5mm thick Filter

8x M2 10-12mm long

1x USB-C connector

Next I am going to design a mount. If you have any suggestions for chances just let me know. I also included the STEP file so can change it yourself.
