Audi A8 / S8 D2 grommet for 'Botang's Hole'

Botang's Hole (named after forum user Botang who found it) is a hole in the rain tray which lets water drip in to the cabin and on to the electronics. From the factory it's covered with fabric tape, which by now is dried and crusty and useless. The hole is hidden behind the electronics box on RHD cars and under the wiper mechanism and AC pipes on LHD cars. The pic shows a RHD model with the electronics box removed.

Print in TPU such as Ninjaflex, 0.2 layer height is fine. Use support for the top overhang - it peels of Ninjaflex just fine. Other TPUs may vary.

Clean round the hole thoroughly, insert the grommet, and cover with PU seam sealer for maximum effect.
