The original design requires 6803 bearings, but 608 are much more common within the 3D printing community.

I got my hands on some 5 Kg. spools of PLA plastic and found myself in need of a sturdy and well-designed spool holder. I found what I wanted in the 1-5 KG Spool Holder! but… silly me. I ASSumed that it used std. 608 bearings.

Rather than scrap everything and re-mix from scratch, or order and wait for 6803 bearings, I whisked up an adapter that would let me use my standard 608 bearings.
