Hikvision Turret Camera to 4" Square Junction Box Adapter

This model is an adapter to mount a larger format Hikvision turret camera to the cover of a common outdoor 4" junction box. The plastic outdoor 4" boxes are commonly used for a variety of CCTV cameras, often mounted directly to the box. After upgrading to larger diameter Hikvision ColorVu cameras, I discovered they were too large for the camera's factory mounting holes to mount to my existing 4" junction boxes. This adapter makes a secure mount and a sleek transition from the round base of the camera to the square junction box cover.

This adapter does not replace the original weatherproof junction box cover. it only allows the adapter to be mounted to the original cover with four self-tapping screws.

The camera should be mounted to this adapter with screws no larger than #6 x ½" self-tapping or wood screws.

I printed using PETG for outdoor durability. Minimal supports might be required for the four recessed holes in the bottom which accommodate the original junction box cover screws. I printed with 20% infill.
