PC-LM1E Webcam Case and Holder [Rook 2020 MK2]

I made a case and holder for the cheap Aukey webcam PC-LM1E. The webcam costs only 15 € in Germany and has a quite decent image quality. I am very happy with it.

I didn't liked the big original case with a lot of air in it, that's why i made this case with fitting holder for the Rook2020 MK2.

The holder and the webcam is mounted to the back of the Rook2020. That was the only position that made sense to me.

Case instructions:

- take off the front of the webcam with a flat screw driver or something similar (it is only clipped in) - disconnect the pcb connector - unscrew the pcb (quite small Philips screw driver needed) - remove the glue from the metal clip that secures the cable to the case - remove the metal clip - remove the cable from the case - do the same but in reverse with the printed case (except the glue, not necessary imho) - add heat set inserts to the holder - screw the case to the holder - secure the webcam cable with cable ties The images should explain it further.

Also needed:

- 2 M3 heat set inserts - 2 M3x8 screws - 2 M5 t-nuts or hammerhead nuts - 2 M5x8 screws - 2 cable ties The last image is taken from the webcam directly, without any image optimisation.

I recommend to add v4l2ctl: saturation=255 to the crowsnest.conf.
