Intro

The CapMaster is not just another bottle opener — it’s the ultimate opener for makers, tinkerers, and 3D printing enthusiasts . Designed specifically for people who love smart, minimal, and functional tools, this opener combines simplicity, durability, and fun in one compact print.

Inspired by the classic lighter bottle-opening technique , the CapMaster lets you open bottles quickly and effortlessly — but in a much safer way , without damaging lighters, hurting your fingers, or risking broken glass. Perfect for workshops, maker spaces, BBQs, or relaxed evenings after a successful print.

If you’re into 3D printing, this is one of those prints you’ll actually use again and again .

How to Use the CapMaster:

Using the CapMaster is simple and intuitive:

- Place the CapMaster under the bottle cap , resting it against the rim of the bottle

- Hold the bottle firmly

- Apply gentle leverage upward , similar to opening a bottle with a lighter

- The cap pops off smoothly — no force, no damage, no risk

Unlike using a lighter, this method is much safer , won’t destroy everyday objects, and is designed specifically to handle the stress of opening bottles.

Why you'll love it?

- Made for Makers – A practical everyday tool designed by and for 3D printing fans

- Easy to Print – No supports, quick print, beginner-friendly

- Robust & Reliable – Strong design that handles repeated use

- Compact & Portable – Fits easily in your pocket, toolbox, or backpack

- Fun & Functional – A real conversation starter in any maker group

Recommended print settings

- The text on the capmaster should face down to the print bed

- Nozzle: 0.4

- Layers: 0.2

- Infill: 100%

- I recommend to use PETG because it is a little bit softer, but PLA also works
