SV08 + Beacon3D Rev H mount

Aug.13.2024: Fully working on stock hardware and even stock firmware! You'll need to hide some .py files to make the [probe] cfg errors go away. I followed this discord user's instructions successfully.

I want to use the Beacon3D Rev H sensor on my SV08 so I made this mount for it. This adapter will require the removal of the rear parts fan as well as some cutting of the toolhead cover . I am not responsible for any damage this causes and it is up to you to determine if this is a good idea. _______________________________________________________________________________________________

Print settings

I recommend printing this out of a heat resistant and rigid material. I chose ABS-CF. Use Voron parts settings for good strength. I am using 4 walls and 20% cubic infill.

Config changes

I'm pretty sure I covered everything below, but make sure to follow the official documentation closely and look at any errors you get to know what needs to be changed.

This is what I currently have in my beacon.cfg . Basically just matches what I set for my V2.4:

In printer.cfg:

You must comment out the [probe] , [probe_pressure] , [homing_override] , and [bed_mesh] sections in your printer.cfg. Note: Only comment out [bed_mesh] if you put a new one in your beacon.cfg, otherwise just edit it.
