Mini-Turkey (XRP Base)

The Mini-Turkey is a small-scale replica of the Roasted Turkey robot at my universities robotics club. The chassis of the robot is shorter in height than the diameter of the wheels which allows the robot to be driven rightside up and upside down. The Mini-Turkey utilizes tank drive to roam around.

Hardware and Materials:

The length of the screws does not have to be exact. Longer ones may work. With one exception: M3*6Screws must be this exact size.

- XRP Diy Kit - (2) Hobby Motor w/ Encoder - (16) M3* Inserts - (16) M3*6 Screws - (6) M3*10 Screws - (8) M3*55 Screws - (22) M3 Lock-nuts - (2) 5.5*8 Polycarbonate Sheet (1/8" thickness) - (1) 8*10 PET Plastic Sheet (0.04" thickness) Optional You would also need a soldering iron for the threaded inserts, a Allen key and wrench , a sharp knife for cutting the PET sheet, a heat gun for bending the PET sheet, and a power tool or machinery for cutting the polycarbonate sheet.

Only one poly-carbonate sheet is necessary for mounting the electronics, but for protection and design purposes, there is a 2nd sheet for the top cover. This top polycarbonate cover can be swapped for a thinner PET sheet instead.
