Sovol SV08 - 120mm Low Profile Electronics Fan Mount

What? This is a 120mm (low profile*) fan mount for the SV08 electronics.

Why? Better cooling.

How? Remove the electronics cover (that one stays off after this), use 2 M3x25 screws together with 2 M3 T-Nuts to fixate to the 2020 frame. See image what T-Nuts are used.

Mount the fan (hole spacing: 105mm) with 4 fan mounting self tapping screws. Make sure it blows onto the board.

I run my (12v) fan continously with a LM2596 step-down converter directly from the PSU at 9v, this is silent and gives plenty of airflow. But you can also connect a 24v fan to the output on the board and use it that way (e.g. PWM the speed based on temperature if you wish to do so). Both regular and LM2596 mount models are provided.

* (a standard 25mm high fan will also work but needs higher feet to raise the printer a bit by around 10mm)
