Foam Printer Feet Using Nerf Balls - V3 SE - Resonance + Noise Reduction

This simple foam feet mod greatly reduced resonance/vibrations for me, which surely in some way translates to better quality even if a tiny bit. Even though I had used a stone block under my printer before trying this mod, it noticeably helped using the foam feet mod.

I designed the model with a generous opening for the stock rubber feet, since I know Creality printers can have variances in part sizes, as well as in my own testing noticed the rubber rectangles varied in size. With that said, if it doesn't fit, then Creality really has some wild tolerances lol.

I included a bunch of different model formats for if anyone wants to remix it and adapt it to other printers. The nerf ball size is 21mm, which is the common size found online.

Print orientation - doesn't matter. I preferred printing it with the block at the top, it saved printing time and filament from less/no supports. I used stock supports which was a tiny bit at the top of the domes.

The newest and final version is what is here on printables. The photos don't show additional added cutout due to the rear right foot having an oddly placed screw. It simply makes sense to just use the same design for all 4 feet even though only that one has the little screw requiring the small square cutout. The holes at the top are due to the cutout for the rubber. I doubt adding 1mm of extra layers to make it look “perfect” is gonna increase its usability in any way.
