Tapo C100/C110 Outdoor Conversion Kit

Hey all, after buying a 4 pack of Tapo 2k C110 cameras I found out they were for indoor only, however the price was really great so I wanted to make them work

After finding a video on how to disassemble it and seeing how basic the internals are, I went on the route of converting them to be compatible for outdoor usage :D

(Not my video but here's how to take apart the camera) https://youtu.be/oLlsMnTie_k I used a car interior pry tool to dismantle it and take out the motherboard. Can probably use some old gift cards or something thin to pry the edges I removed the IR board (just pops out super easy) as it wasn't needed. It's optional but it would sometimes cause some weird effect on the camera maybe since it's not meant for outdoor or something didn't line up perfectly, idk but it works perfect without it (photo of nighttime view attached to preview images)

I originally had made it use the same mount but in a different position but found it wasn't that great to connect so found a ball socket lock and converted it to work with this and love how it came out THIS WILL NEED TO BE GLUED ONTO THE HOUSING (b7000 works great or any super glue or melt it together)

You can either glue it to the top, the side, or i've been glueing it to the back. Just depends where you plan to mount it/them

If you ever need to reset it or access the SD card you will have to disassemble it, no holes on the sides for additional weatherproofing Also the wire on the bottom takes some maneuvering to insert due to the smaller area, but again--- weatherproofing (sorta)

If any issues or ideas for improvement i'm all ears :D
