PI52 NVME/HDMI Adapter Case for Raspberry Pi5

This case has been re-designed to house the amazing **'52Pi M.2 Multifunctional Adapter for Raspberry Pi 5'** (SKU: EP-0246) which plugs in to the Pi5. The board gives full size hdmi x2, USB-C Power Connector and an Internal NVME drive connector for either a 2230 or 2242 HDMI Drive.

**NEW - 13/08/25 ** I have also added a case lid with support for a 60mm 5v case fan to add additional cooling, this may seem excessive but I keep my pi servers in my loft and it can get toasty. I have only test printed the lid without vents and with a NOCTUA fan plug though. Fan used is the 'Noctua NF-A6x15 5V, Premium Quiet Slim Fan with USB Power Adaptor Cable, 4-Pin, 5V Version (60x15mm, Brown)'.

Three Lid Versions now available :- - **1)** Normal Lid with vent holes. - **2)** Lid with 60mm Fan mount and vents removed. - **3)** Lid with 60mm Fan mount and vents removed and a header hole for the fan lead if required (ideal for Noctua Fans). The Fan Hole is big enough to fit the NOCTUA fan header plugs in and then you can insert a blanking plug to neaten it all up.

I have designed the fan mounts in the new lid designs to accommodate a standard M3 Nut and Bolt type fixing. (Exact sizes I have used to follow but will depend on the fan you use)

The case is close tolerance giving 1mm clearance to the board edges which results in a smaller more compact case. The cover clips in place but you may need a spudger to remove it as its a close fit. Remember to place some tape over the button on the outside of the case to hold it in position temporarily whilst assembling.

Before tightening the Pi fixing screws keep testing the button operation taking care not to allow it to bind up.

The overall height allows for other HATs internally, however, you can only add a single PCIE connector and the PI52 board takes that. Fixings used are M2.5 x 6 self tapped for the adapter and M2.5 for the Pi. You may want a bigger cooler, the case supports this to an extent, I may re-design the lid to accept a tower cooler though, in the pictures I am using the standard PI5 official cooler, there is lots of internal space. There are internal supports designed in to support the HDMI/NVME board to allow for insertion and removal of the NVME drive inside the case. Printed on 0.4mm PETG, although the original author of this case did design it to be printed using a 0.2mm nozzle I believe but I have had no issue at 0.4mm. I printed mine without supports of any type and had no printing issues. Just remember to reduce flow for overhangs.
