The models split into a few groups. Expedition-style front shields and number-plate panels are usually flat or slightly curved plates that mount near the fork or the handlebar area. Mudguards and fenders are longer, thinner parts shaped to follow the wheel, and they often come with a separate bracket or a zip-tie mount.
