🔍 Model name decoding

HWTB045 Straight L200

HW – Hot Wheels compatible

TB – Track Builder compatible

045 – model/version number

Straight – straight track section

L – large height (high side walls)

200 – track length: 200 mm

🧩 Description

This straight track is compatible with Hot Wheels Track Builder and designed to be print-optimized with high side walls (L) for better car retention at speed.

It connects smoothly with official parts and with my other HWTB tracks and connectors.

To avoid stress concentration, the connector transition is softened instead of a sharp step—this improves durability and reduces snapping during bending.

🖨️ Printing orientation & tips

– RECOMMENDED: Horizontal (laid on its side)

Includes built-in stabilizing supports to prevent tipping during the print.

Add one manual support to reinforce a long edge if your slicer shows risk.

The provided .3mf is preconfigured for this setup.

Result: smooth surface, strong walls, print lines run lengthwise with car travel.

– OPTIONAL: Vertical

Use a wide brim for stability. The included .3mf has the setup, but note: vertically printed tracks are more prone to cracking when bent, especially with stiffer materials. Consider PETG for flexibility if you choose this orientation.

An additional .stl without preparation is provided if you want custom settings, but the above orientations gave the best results in testing.
