3D Models of Battery Holders, Covers and Adapters

This collection gathers 3D printing files built around batteries: holders and wall mounts, adapters between pack types, replacement covers and doors, and scale-model cells. It is useful when a plastic part around a battery has broken or when you want a mount shaped to a specific pack. Each entry links to a model page, where the author describes the STL and how it was printed. Polyzon does not confirm whether models are free, their price, license, official status, affiliation, safety or fitness. Check the current terms at the source.

«3D Models of Battery Holders, Covers and Adapters»

The models fall into a few groups. Holders and mounts keep a pack in place on a wall, bench or machine, and often include screw holes or a sliding rail. Adapters join one battery interface to another, so the shape of the contacts and the latch matters more than the outer shell. Replacement covers and doors restore a missing part on a remote, controller or small device, while scale-model and dummy cells are solid shapes used for display, fit checks or as part of a larger model.

Before printing, compare the dimensions on the model page with the actual cell or pack: length, width, thickness and the position of the contacts. Look at how many parts the file contains, whether they are meant to be glued or screwed, and whether the author lists supports, orientation and material. Parts that sit close to a hot pack are usually printed in a material with better heat resistance than standard PLA, and thin walls around a sliding fit may need a small test print first.

If a search returns little, try other words for the same object: battery mount, cell holder, pack adapter, battery door, dummy cell, or the cell format itself, such as 18650 or 21700. Related topics can also help, for example chargers, power-tool storage, remote-control replacement parts or model-car interiors. Adding the device or pack type to the query narrows the results faster than browsing a general battery category.

FAQ

Questions fréquentes

What should I measure before printing a battery holder?
Measure the cell or pack itself: length, width, thickness and the distance between the contacts. Then compare those figures with the dimensions given on the model page, since a holder is usually drawn for one exact format.
How do printed battery adapters differ from holders?
An adapter copies the interface of one pack type and presents the interface of another, so the latch and contact positions carry the load. A holder only needs to grip the pack and attach to a surface, which makes its geometry simpler.
Why print a dummy battery cell?
A dummy cell has the outer dimensions of a real one but no internals. It is used to check fit in a holder or device, to fill a compartment in a display model, or to test clearances before a real cell is inserted.
Which material is used for parts near a battery?
Authors usually state the material on the model page. Filaments with higher heat resistance than standard PLA, such as PETG, ABS or ASA, appear often for parts that sit against a warm pack or in a closed compartment.
