Foot Fixing STL Models: Replacement Feet and Caps

This collection gathers STL files for feet and foot fixings: plinth feet with screw mounting, caps for profile frames, replacement feet for printers and small devices, and adapters that extend or repair an existing foot. It helps when an original foot is lost, cracked or too short and you would rather print a new one than replace the whole piece. Most of these parts are small, so they print quickly on a common 3D printer. Polyzon does not confirm whether models are free, their price, license, official status, affiliation, safety or fitness. «Foot Fixing STL Models: Replacement Feet and Caps»

Screw-fixing plinth feet for cabinets and shelving usually consist of a top plate and a shaft, and they differ in shaft height and in how the top is fastened. Foot caps for aluminium profile frames are shaped to a particular profile size and are pushed or screwed onto the end of the extrusion. Replacement feet for printers and small appliances follow the base of one machine, so the hole pattern and the contact surface matter more than the outline.

On the author's model page, check the stated dimensions: outer diameter, height, hole spacing and screw size. Look at whether the part needs supports, how many pieces it consists of, and whether it is meant to be screwed, glued or pushed on. Photos of real prints show how the part sits in place, and the material and settings the author lists give a starting point for your own print.

Search terms are easier to narrow by function than by object: screw fixing foot, plinth foot, foot cap, foot extender, foot adapter, replacement foot. Adding the profile size or the shaft height, or words such as low type and high type, brings up variants of the same shape. Related topics worth trying are levelling feet, furniture glides, end caps and base plates.

FAQ

よくある質問

How do I work out which foot size to print?
Measure the hole spacing, the shaft diameter and the height you need, then compare them with the dimensions given on the model page. If the shape allows, the model can be scaled slightly in the slicer, but holes and slots change with it.
Do these feet need supports?
It depends on the overhangs in the file. Many are printed flat with the mounting plate on the bed, which avoids supports altogether. Check the author's notes and step through the layers in the slicer preview before starting.
What should I look at for a foot that carries weight?
See which material and settings the author lists, and how thick the walls of the part are. A foot under load is usually printed with more perimeters and a denser infill. The model page often states the intended use and the load direction.
Can I scale a foot model to fit my furniture?
Small adjustments are often enough if only the height is wrong. Scaling also changes screw holes, slots and snap fits, so a large change may stop the part from mounting correctly. Compare the measured values with the dimensions on the page first.
