Описание

⚠️ Important: Choose the correct version for your AMS model (AMS 1 vs AMS 2 Pro)

Update (AMS 1 support added)

This roller slider mod is now available for both AMS 1 and AMS 2 Pro.

Please make sure to download the correct version for your AMS model. All files are clearly labeled.

Note:

The AMS 2 Pro version is fully tested.

The AMS 1 version was created based on community-provided measurements, as I do not own an original AMS. Fit may vary slightly depending on your specific unit.

⸻

This is a simple and cost-effective roller base mod for the AMS system.

The idea came after building an AMS rack/stack setup and looking for an easy way to smoothly slide out the lower AMS unit.

The design consists of two separate sliders:

* one for the left side * one for the right side

Each slider fits into the lower slots of the AMS (depending on version).

Each slider uses two 608 bearings (4 total).

Instead of screws, the bearings are secured using small locking pins:

* insert pin into the 608 bearing (8 mm inner diameter) * slide the bearing into the printed part * the pin holds it securely in place

No screws required.

Once installed, the AMS can be placed on a flat surface and smoothly rolled in and out.

This is a simple alternative to drawer rails or complex sliding systems.

⸻

Requirements:

* 4x 608 bearings (metal recommended) * 4x printed locking pins

Optional:

You can print 608 bearings if you don’t have real ones,

but metal bearings provide better performance.

⸻

Installation:

1. Insert locking pin into bearing 2. Press bearing into slider 3. Repeat for all 4 bearings 4. Insert sliders into AMS (left + right) 5. Place AMS on flat surface

⸻

Why this design?

* No permanent modification * Fully removable * Low material usage * Cheap and accessible parts * Clean and simple solution

Boost Me Enjoying this mod? If it helps you out, a Boost would mean a lot! It keeps me creating more handy and fun mods for everyone. :)
