This guide, designed for the Makita RT070X (tested with RT0700C ) and Festool FS rail , provides a robust solution. The system efficiently utilizes Makita's existing mounting features, requiring only a single bolt .

The design goal was to allow the original router base to slide directly on the workpiece while using the FS rail's PTFE strips for smooth, low-friction movement on the rail. The guide also permits safe manual operation (hand pressure) for enhanced control.

🔩 Mounting and Materials

The router base attaches to the guide using one M6x50mm hex socket bolt and a M6 washer .
