PG42 threaded blind stuffing to close unused PG42-openings in housings. Adapter for (1-5)xPG7 cable glands for smaller diameter wires. Unused PG7-openings can be closed with PG7 blind stuffings with PG7-thread.

Assembly [1] PG7 cable gland pre-assembly Screw 1-5 PG7-cable glands (PG7-thread) into the PG7 openings of the adapter. Close unused PG7-openings with PG7-blind stuffings. Use optional TPU PG7-sealings if necessary. [2] PG42-adapter assembly Place the pre-assembled PG42-adapter (blind stuffing) in the PG42 opening and secure it with a PG42 nut. Optionally place PG42 sealing on the PG42-adapter before assembly. [3] Cable assembly Guide cable through PG7 cable gland and fix cable by fastening the corresponding cable gland nut.

Hint : Apply some silicone grease on the thread, so it can be easily be assembled and disassembled. (Without grease, the thread tends to wind on and off somewhat “sticky”.)
