Ferrite rod 4:1 BalUn inside a tube

This is a simple enclosure for a ferrite rod 4:1 balun, made of a plastic 32mm diameter tube and two caps at the ends. One side is capped with a simple speaker wire terminal for the antenna wire (M4 threaded), on the other side there is the hole for a BNC connector.

There are two variants of the BNC cap: one for the screw mount type and one for the panel mount type that uses four M3 screws.

The design is based on a 32mm (1.25inch) diameter plastic tube since it was the only tube I had available.

The fit is not tight, you can either glue the caps on the tube or use some tape to secure them, in case you ever need to make some modifications.
