Yellowjackets and wasps are a constant threat to beehives during the summer. The BeeShield Wasp Trap is a modular, highly efficient, and easy-to-print solution designed to protect your bees and upcycle standard plastic bottles.

Key Features:

- 100% Support-Free: Designed from the ground up to print without a single gram of support material.

- Universal Fit: Uses an ANSI 1 1/8 - 8 UN thread (PCO28 equivalent), ensuring a perfect fit with almost any standard PET soda bottle around the world.

- Rain-Proof Roof: The modular top cover protects the liquid bait from rain while featuring a beautiful, non-piercing bee engraving.

- Perfect Balance System: Features an integrated base ring to tie your fishing line or string. This distributes the weight perfectly and removes all mechanical stress from the printed threads.

Print Settings & Recommendations:

- Layer Height: 0.2 mm.

- Perimeters (Walls): 3 perimeters for structural strength.

- Infill: 15% Gyroid.

- Supports: None.

- Elephant Foot Compensation 0,15 : HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Make sure this setting is active in your slicer to ensure the bottle threads and the pillar joints fit perfectly without post-processing.

- Material: PETG is highly recommended due to its UV resistance and ability to withstand high outdoor temperatures during summer. PLA can be used, but it may warp under direct sunlight.

Assembly Instructions:

- Print the four parts separately (three roof support pillars).

- Apply a small drop of Cyanoacrylate (Super Glue) to the ends of the three pillars and insert them into the cap holes and the roof.

- Tie a fishing line or string to the holes on the base ring.

- Fill a recycled PET bottle with your preferred wasp bait, screw the BeeShield on top, and hang it near your hives!

Las avispas y chaquetas amarillas son una amenaza constante para las colmenas durante el verano. La Trampa BeeShield es una solución modular, altamente eficiente y fácil de imprimir, diseñada para proteger a tus abejas mientras reciclas botellas de plástico estándar.

Características Principales:

- 100% Sin Soportes: Diseñada desde cero para imprimirse sin usar un solo gramo de material de soporte.

- Ajuste Universal: Utiliza una rosca ANSI 1 1/8 - 8 UN (equivalente a PCO28), lo que garantiza un encaje perfecto con casi cualquier botella PET de bebida estándar en el mundo.

- Techo Anti-Lluvia: La cubierta modular superior protege el cebo líquido de la lluvia y presenta un hermoso grabado de abejas que no traspasa el plástico.

- Sistema de Balance Perfecto: Cuenta con un anillo base integrado para amarrar el hilo de pescar o cuerda. Esto distribuye el peso a la perfección y elimina la tensión mecánica sobre la rosca impresa.

Parámetros de Impresión y Recomendaciones:

- Altura de Capa: 0.2 mm.

- Perímetros (Muros): 3 perímetros para mayor resistencia estructural.

- Relleno: 15% Giroide (Gyroid).

- Soportes: Ninguno.

- Compensación de Pata de Elefante 0,15 (Elephant Foot Compensation): MUY RECOMENDADO. Asegúrate de tener esta opción activa en tu laminador para que la rosca de la botella y los ensambles de los pilares encajen perfecto sin necesidad de lijar.

- Material: Se recomienda encarecidamente usar PETG por su resistencia a los rayos UV y a las altas temperaturas en exteriores durante el verano. Se puede usar PLA, pero podría deformarse bajo la luz solar directa.

Instrucciones de Ensamblaje:

- Imprime las cuatro piezas por separado(Tres pilares de soporte de techo).

- Aplica una pequeña gota de cianocrilato (La Gotita / Super Glue) en los extremos de los tres pilares e insértalos en los agujeros de la tapa y el techo.

- Amarra un hilo de pescar o cuerda en los agujeros del anillo base.
