Magnetic Ceiling Vent Air Director (Low Profile)

Redirects airflow outward across the room rather than straight down onto your bed or desk. Low-profile design with a smooth internal curve to minimize air restriction, backpressure, and noise.

Printing:

- Material: PETG or ABS/ASA recommended (avoid PLA if your vent blows hot air in the winter, as it will sag/warp over time).

- Layer Height: 0.20mm.

- Walls/Perimeters: 3–4 walls for rigidity.

- Infill: 15–20% (Gyroid or Grid).

- Supports: None.

- Orientation: Print flat with the mounting base directly on the build plate.

Hardware Needed:

- 4x Neodymium disc magnets 0.565"

- Super glue

How to Install:

- Insert Magnets: Press-fit the neodymium magnets into the recessed pockets on the base. Add a drop of CA glue if necessary.

- Prep Surface: Wipe down the steel vent slats to remove dust.

- Mount: Orient the opening away from your workspace or bed, then snap it directly onto the metal ceiling register. No screws or permanent modifications required.
