Описание

This design is for the Bakeneko 60% keyboard by kkatano: https://github.com/kkatano/bakeneko-60

The case is based on the parametric Rugged Box by Whity

I wanted a keyboard that would be safe to keep loose in a backpack without fear of losing keycaps. Thanks to the ease of designing cases for the Bakeneko, along with the flexibility of the USB-C daughterboard, making this remix was pretty straightforward. The USB position isn't the best visually, but it works how I want, low-profile and keeping the cable safe.

The keyboard doesn't have an ergonomic angle or proper feet, but that's since it's meant to be a portable option, not a long-term workhorse. Which is a bit of an excuse since I'm sure it can be designed into it for the next version!

Hardware needed (not including Bakeneko parts):

6 x M3x35 SHCS (can be changed through parametric controls in Fusion)

2 x M3 heatset insert 4mm diameter x 4mm (smaller than Voron standard inserts!)

2 x M3x10 BHCS (securing the USB cover)

This case is designed for an O-ring gasket mount (Friction fit) and Unified Daughterboard setup. Different O-rings may have a tighter/looser fit.

Assembly notes:

While installing the heatset inserts, molten material may push up into the channel for the seal component. Use a knife or sidecutters to clear any material. Switching to a smaller M2 insert would avoid this but I don't have the hardware at the moment.
