uSDX Sandwich Housing (Lunchbox) by DL2MAN

This is the housing for DL2MAN uSDX Sandwich , so users that already have an existing Sandwich can print an easy housing.

It requires to remove the electrolytic capacitor below OLED, replace it with a small tantalum capacitor and solder OLED directly to IO PCB. Rest can be unchanged.

The housing includes the correct “spacers” between the PCB Layers, so you dont need the Metal Spacers anymore.

I printed them from PETG in 0,1mm Layer height. Infill 20%.

You will need some M3 Screws to asseble everything, that will “bite” into the PETG and secure everything together.If you print it in PLA, tap it (cut threads) before screwing it together, otherwise it might crack.

UPDATE 02 Sept 2021:

Uploaded both Versions: DIET = Lower Assembly and Normal height

For DIET Assembly to work, you need at least OLED Rev 2.2 and Mainboard Rev 2.7

High Assembly works with every combination of Mainboard + OLED Board + 8-Band Board

Alternative right Walls available if you use 5-Band Board (Cutout for SMA Connector slightly Higher)

Added even printable Top and Bottom Covers, in case you dont want to order PCBs.

However: This is just an improvised solution as it will not look that pretty….
