Sovol SV06 Reverse Bowden PTFE Tube Guide

The remix is based on and thus all design credit for the original of AllTheHobbies' Filament Guide .

I made the front gap wider so a PTFE tube can pass and use it for a Reverse Bowder setup to feed filament through from a dry/storage box placed next to the Sovol SV06. The slot is a little wider as well compared to the original so the PTFE tube has more room to move to the end of the slot and less chance that it exits through the front gap.

As the original , this Reverse Bowden PTFE tube guide can mounted on top of Sovol SV06 gantry, under spool holder, with the original 2 hex head bolts.

I printed in Sovol Blue PLA, top facing down, without support.

USER EXPERIENCE UPDATE:

Depending on the type of Reverse Bowden PTFE tube mount you use on your extruder, there might be an interference issue with this guide on the top gantry when printing tall objects or during auto Z-align function: the PTFE tube gets bent/squeezed sideways a lot and/or the tube connector on the extruder mount can hit the guide. This was the case for me, using this tube mount on the extruder for a Reverse Bowden setup.

To resolve the interference of the PTFE tube with the original guide, I now use a cage guide instead, that allows the tube to move freely at all positions of the extruder.
